Wessel Ebersohn

Wessel Ebersohn thinks of himself as a friend of Yudel. On the other hand, Yudel does not always share that view. Wessel has written three books about Yudel. The problem with them, as far as Yudel is concerned, is that they are all thrillers. He would prefer serious studies of his work. Wessel says that the stories are inherently thrillers and there is nothing he can do about that. The three books – their titles are A LONELY PLACE TO DIE, DIVIDE THE NIGHT and CLOSED CIRCLE – sold well. Serious studies would not have sold as well, he says.
