More about the killings
October 22 is the day when all these killing are supposed to have taken place, at the rate of one a year. It seems so unlikely, but the closer I get top it, the more possible it seems that this is what happened.
Yesterday I spent some of the day and all evening trying to find something like it in the literature, but I came up with nothing. Not that this is discouraging. Just because there has never been a similar case, does not mean that this one is not real. If there is anything I have learnt about human behavior, it is that you should be ready to expect anything. This applies especially in the area of compulsion and, if this is true, it is clearly a compulsion. But what sort of compulsion? What is driving the killer? And what did his victims have to do with each other?
